The Little Man With The Big Bible

Clearing peaceful protesters with gas and flash grenades. Just to walk to a closed church and hold a bible in some sort of stupid fu#$%ng charade to prove what? That he sides with the those grieving? That he has empathy for the oppressed?
That is not what I see. I see a coward, a liar, a little man who wants to be a dictator.
And I see a country that is falling into chaos. Playing into the hands of this as*%)le. The bigots, white supremists, the ignorant and the foolish are his supporters. These are not necessarily stupid people that lap up his rhetoric. They are our friends, family and neighbors. Many are well educated and decent human beings that deserve our love and respect. They are lost, they are scared, they feel powerless. Let us bring them back from the abyss, show them they are loved, protected and have a say in their lives.
This president* complained about a black man kneeling at a football game. He raged about that peaceful protest. Now he rages about violent protests. I do not condone the violence, the looting and pillaging of a small fraction of the protesters. I do strongly support the protesters right to march, to speak, to yell and to scream. They have the right to be heard. And we have the duty to listen.
We must find a way to bring this tiny man down. I, today, am calling for his ouster. I will use any means available to me to help remove this monster from our government. He has brought this wonderful country to the brink of disaster. He has almost achieved his goal. His followers have begun to build the dais for him. We must not let this happen.
Please look to your hearts, look to your God (if that is your way), look to your children, grandchildren and all the people of this country. Look inside, I believe you will see what this human pile of s*&t is bringing to our lives. If you are honest with yourselves, if you are a decent, moral being, you will not be able to support him any longer. For he is the antithesis of decency and morality.
Bring about change, side with me, side with George Will, side with all of us are calling for complete reform. To change the narrative we must first change our course. I know you have heard me say this before, VOTE! It is our first means of change. Once we have removed this cancer from our lives we can begin to heal, begin to restore, begin the long process of making America really great again. For this leader has done the exact opposite of his slogan. He will be remembered for “making America an outwardly racist country again”. Let us hope he is not remembered at all. Though let us not forget what he has done.

And Now A Little Less Of Me And A Little More of You

A short note. I have been known to be a bit angry with the conservatives I encounter. And well I should! Below are some questions that have been rummaging around in my head looking for answers. Apparently it’s empty in there.

Why is it that we never hear of the Christian Left? Are all Christians conservatives? Or do liberal leaning Christians just say less?

If something happens to Trump are you more scared of Mike Pence? He comes across like he’s robotic. No personality, no empathy. But then look who he works for. Scary, scary man.

Why does Fox News exist? Why does OANN exist? They both just reiterate what they say the president meant.

Why can’t the President remember what he said the day before? Why can’t Kayleigh McEnany remember what he said at all?

Off topic, but why do dogs always have to follow you into the bathroom?

Do you think Dr. Fauci likes Donald Trump? Or does he think it’s his job to make sure that the facts get out? Let’s hope it’s the latter.

What’s with Hope Hicks? Have you seen the photos of Trump whispering in her ear? Do you think she understands anything he says? None of the rest of us do.

Okay, that’s it for now. My job was to put some questions in your head so that they aren’t floating around in mine anymore. You’re welcome.

Understand the Science

Let me preface this post with the fact that I lean to the left. I wanted to say that in case anyone had any doubts!

Okay I have had enough. These idiots who think that protesting the stay at home orders by gathering in public spaces and not respecting ”social distancing” need to leave this earth. I don’t care how they leave or where they go just get the hell out of our lives. Carrying Trump signs and Confederate flags these are the worst of our society. Now even Stephen Moore has chimed in saying this equates to Rosa Parks sitting in the white only section of the bus. This is the man that needs to lead the exodus.

And now our “president” tweets “Liberate”. That is inciting civil disobedience. Does he understand that can be an impeachable offense? Does he really want “his” country to experience a longer pandemic? Or does he really understand the science?

I am not fond of the stay at home order, nobody is. But it here for a reason. I know the economy is going to suffer and people are going to suffer because of the economy. The alternative is that more people die. The protesters either don’t care or aren’t intelligent enough to understand the science behind these orders. We are all going to have to live without for awhile. Without work, without friends, without loved ones. It’s what must be done. Our federal government must help us out. It is the responsibility of the President to protect the populace of the country. We need guidance from the White House. What we are getting is excuses and “blame the other guy” press conferences (aka campaign rallies). Our Governors have the power in their states. They say when we open. The Feds need to support the Governor’s decisions. Some Governors need to stop sucking up to the President and listen to the science. Do not open until the science says it is okay. I know this sounds hypocritical because I said the Governors have the power. That doesn’t mean, to me, that they can use the power in stupid ways.

I have been lucky. I am still employed. I know many who are not, many who will not be again. I have been lucky. No one I know has died of Covid-19. I know some who were infected but have recovered. I have been lucky. My family and other loved ones are healthy and safe. I have been lucky. Others not so much.
