With all the crap that has been going on in our country this story may top them all. Here is a link to the Huffington Post story. Thank you Haley Miller for bringing this to light. Everyone, please read this. Then think about why something like this is okay with anyone! What sense of accomplishment, thrill, etc. would any human feel by shooting an innocent animal. Not for food, not for the good of community but for pride! Maybe anyone who want to hunt for wolves needs to fight them on even terms. Fight with what you were born with, if you win I’ll be okay with your feeling of pride. But if you lose, well, you won’t be mourned.

A wild wolf beloved by wolf watchers and biologists who visit Yellowstone National Park has been shot dead by a hunter.
The 7-year-old female wolf, known to scientists as Lamar Canyon Wolf Pack member 926F, had wandered just outside Yellowstone last weekend and was legally killed by a trophy hunter.
Nicknamed “Spitfire” by wolf enthusiasts, the slain she-wolf was the daughter of famous alpha female 832F, who inspired the book American Wolf: A True Story of Survival and Obsession in the West.
